Before choosing this wheel, DO research the primary games you intend to use it with, to ensure compatibility because this wheel isn't 100% compatible with all Xbox 360 games. Test Drive Unlimited is a case in point; the paddle shifters aren't properly mapped and can't be, so they're useless. The steering is so insensitive, even at maximum setting, that it feels more like you're driving a boat than car. These are software specific issues so you might be able to work around it.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue can't be worked around very well. The physical design of the pedal attachment uses a 'loop' configuration where your heels are supposed to sit inside the 'loop to keep the pedals from sliding away. That means you have to be sitting at a certain angle to use it and your feet have press the pedals down rather than forward. Worse, your foot never rests on the pedal-platform itself. This latter problem results in you needing to use 1 foot for the brake and 1 foot for the accelerator, rather than being able to move freely and confidently with 1 foot, between the two pedals like you would in a real car. If the pedal platform was a flat surface, with some extension on the sides, one foot could rest on the side and hold it in place while the other foot controlled the pedals, the way you can with the better designed racing wheels.
