Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel Get it now!

If you want a good wheel, this is simply one of the best. Look no further for quality. The problem is just that in-game, it's much harder to use than a regular controller. It's one of those things that's just kind of a cool novelty to simulate "realism," but the fact is that not many games control well with this.

GRID:
It works very badly with GRID. Worst of any game I tried. The controls are too sensitive in GRID and it ends up being really frustrating. With a ton of tweaking, it can be possible to make it around the track, but not with near the finesse or precision you can achieve with the controller. This game is just made with a controller in mind.

Burnout Paradise:
This game works OK with the wheel. It doesn't feel quite right, and there are no settings you can adjust in this game to tweak anything, but what they have is alright. Controller still lets you move quicker though and is generally more fun and less frustrating.

Project Gotham Racing 3:
It works well with this game, though once again a controller should be used if you actually want to win instead of having fun simulating "realism." If you're playing with winning in mind you will be frustrated, but it is still pretty cool with this game. The force feedback works especially well in this game.

Midnight Club LA:
The wheel was obviously heavily factored into the making of this game. It just works great. This is the only game where I'm not sure if it actually could be better to use the wheel instead of the controller. With a little tweaking, you can achieve a level of smoothness and accuracy with the wheel that simply isn't possible with a controller. The force feedback is also well done here. It is actually fun to use the wheel with this game.

That covers all the racing games I have, so there you have it. If you like Midnight Club LA or you want to simulate in PGR3, then this wheel might be for you, but if you are just thinking it might be "cool" to have the wheel like I was and that it would make racing games SO much cooler, it doesn't so don't buy it in that case. For me it's kinda a novelty, and now it collects dust because it's too big to merit dragging out of the attic just to play a quick game. Which brings up another thing: it is really bulky. You can't hide it or fold it up nicely. It's just BIG and that's the way it is. So all in all, please, casual players please do not buy this, you'll be wasting your money. If you know you want a huge wheel as a permanent fixture in your living room or gaming room, then maybe this will work for you.Get more detail about Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel.
