After having played through 3 installments of Nascar, 2 of PGR, and a few gran turismos, I decided to break down and purchase a wheel. I wish I had done it a long time ago. The use of a wheel alone would have added to the games, but this wheel has pedals and is force feedback! What does that mean -- it means the wheel feels like you're gripping the road, or in the case of a complete 360, not gripping the road. It makes driving much easier because the fine tuning of your racing line can be difficult with a thumbstick whereas the wheel makes it simple.

I've always avoided manual transmission settings because of trying to switch buttons and remember what's gear up and down. The paddle shifters on this unit make shifting a breeze and much more realistic to F1. I picked this up for $40 on craigs list and it came with PGR3. I would easily pay $60 for the wheel alone.
